A tiny studio apartment is up for rent in the sought after and uber trendy Notting Hill for a whopping £1,583 per month… and you have to sleep in a cupboard.
The studio flat near Kensington Gardens, in West London, is in the heart of the London tourist district with everything on the doorstep. But the sleeping quarters are concealed within a fold-out cupboard that has to be pulled down every night.
The apartment is advertised as furnished and they have been able to squeeze in a leather sofa, an end table, and a pint-sized fold-out dining table tucked in the corner and there is a television mounted on the wall in a bid to save space. But the bed must be pulled down over the sofa and returned to its spot every morning, or there is no room to walk around the apartment.
As well as the substantial monthly rental fee there is an additional £1,826 deposit. One bonus is that all of the bills are included in the monthly rental cost.
The advert describes a built-in kitchen and bathroom, a weekly market and the fabulous location in a bid emphasize the premium attached to such a snug living space.
The studio is being advertised with EC Residential.
