When holidaying in Europe as a big group, it can often be much better value – and more fun – to get an Airbnb rather than a hotel.But picking the city to travel to is usually the hardest part of booking a holiday.Luckily, researchers looked at the average price per night for an Airbnb in 50 European cities to find out where has the cheapest – and most expensive – accommodation per night.They found Warsaw in Poland is where you’ll get the most bang for your buck, with Airbnbs costing just over £65 (€74) per night.Depending on the location and the time of your stay, some Airbnbs are available for less than €30 (£25.73) per night in the stag do hotspot.In second place is Istanbul with the average price per night for an Airbnb being €76.25 (£66.76).The capital of Slovakia completes the top three, as the average price per night for an Airbnb in Bratislavia costing just under £70 (€80).When it comes to the most expensive European city for Airbnbs, the the team at OLBG found, unsurprising, that London was in the top three – although it wasn’t the dearest. The average price of an Airbnb in the UK capital is £187.50, making it the third most expensive on the list.Paris was the second most expensive, with Airbnbs costing a whopping £205.49.But it’s Amsterdam where you’ll have to fork out the most.Airbnbs in the Netherlands tourist hotspot charge £208 a night on average.
