Production, finance and distribution shop Fifth Season – once known as Endeavor Content – has bolstered its film studio with key promotions.

Dan Guando and Kelly Todd have both been elevated to executive vice presidents, of creative and physical production, respectively. They will report to Christopher Slager, whose title becomes president of film.

Fifth Season is behind notable indies like “The Lost Daughter” and “Cha Cha Real Smooth,” and is about to embark on its most ambitious slate yet. Upcoming titles include: “Animals” from director Ben Affleck; “Friendship” with Paul Rudd, Tim Robinson, and Kate Mara, from writer-director Andrew DeYoung; Stephen Chbosky’s “Nonnas” starring Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, and Linda Cardellini; Jan Komasa’s “Anniversary”, starring Diane Lane and Dylan O’Brien; and “The Beast” starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman from director Renny Harlin.

“Dan and Kelly have helped build Fifth Season into the unmatched creative partner it is today,” Slager told Variety. “From development through production, they have worked tirelessly to protect and amplify the vision of the top-tier filmmakers we work with, finding success in the face of industry shifts and challenges.”

Guando has been with the company since its 2017 spinoff from Endeavor, building deep relationships with leading producers and filmmakers. He’s been instrumental in recruiting talent like Affleck, DeYoung and Chbosky. Guando got his start at shops like Bloom and TWC, working on films including “The Imitation Game,” “Fruitvale Station,” “Snowpiercer, “ “Blue Valentine” and “Lion.”

Todd joined Fifth Season in 2019, overseeing production on close to 30 features (“Lost Daughter,” Michael Bay’s “Ambulance”) amid the COVID-19 lockdown and dual Hollywood labor strikes. She previously held positions at Insurrection Media and 20th Century and produced on her own, titles including “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and “Dumplin.”
