Julia Fox warned women not to have children with “losers” after her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev, allegedly excluded her from their son Valentino’s baptism.
Fox slammed Artemiev in a recent TikTok video, telling her followers that she “crashed out” after he tried to “gaslight” her about the situation.
“So basically, what happened was, I went to my son’s school for his school performance. His dad was there. He came late, as usual,” she explained.
“And then I had to, like, help load some stuff in my car, so we were walking to my car, and he points to this church, and he goes, ‘Oh, this is where Valentino was baptized.’”
The comment caught the “Uncut Gems” star, 35, off guard, as she was not even aware her son had been baptized.
“I was like, ‘Well, why wasn’t I invited?’ And he was like, ‘You were invited; you just didn’t want to come,’” she recalled of their conversation.
“And I was like, ‘OK, first of all, don’t tell me what I was not and was invited to.’ Like, absolutely not. If I was invited to something like that, I would go. I would remember,” she continued. “And if I wasn’t invited, I would still have a picture or something. Like, no one told me anything about this.”
However, Artemiev was apparently adamant that Fox had been invited, claiming she just “didn’t want to come” and “didn’t care.”
The actress said the argument took her “back to being in that relationship and being gaslighted over and over and over.”
She alleged that Artemiev used to push her to her limits “until then [she] freaked out” and then flipped the situation on her.
“And then I do something and then he calls me abusive, but it’s reactive abuse,” she alleged of their dynamic. “And then that’s what happens when you’re being mentally and emotionally and psychologically and physically abused.”
After going back and forth with Artemiev, Fox decided to call his mom and asked “why the hell” she was not invited.
“She was like, ‘Well, the priest said that it was a Russian Orthodox thing and only Russian Orthodox people could come,’” the model recalled.
“And it’s like, ‘Wow, now I see where this man gets it from.’ Don’t gaslight me. That is a bulls—t excuse. I am this child’s mother. You are not his mother.”
Fox was even more baffled when Artemiev’s mother allegedly said she thought the “Down the Drain” author “wouldn’t care” about the ceremony.
“I’ve been raising this child alone for four years, doing everything for him, taking him all around the world with me on any job I do, and you think I don’t care? I was like, ‘Listen, lady, your son doesn’t care. I care very much, and you just robbed me of an experience.’”
Despite her disagreements with Artemiev and his family, Fox noted that she does not want her son to pay the price.
“I don’t operate like that. Like, my son loves you ’cause he doesn’t know anything better. So I’m not going to do that to him,” she said.
“But now I know. Now I have the confirmation of how you people operate, and you’re all trash.”
“It’s just crazy. You can’t make this s—t up. These people are f—king animals.”
Fox concluded the rant by urging her female followers not to “have a child with a loser,” adding, “Girls, please, from the bottom of my heart, who you have a child with will dictate the rest of your life.”
Fox married the private pilot in November 2018 after just one month of dating. Although she and Artemiev split in February 2020, they welcomed their now-4-year-old son 11 months later.
Despite claiming they were still on “friendly” terms May 2020, things quickly soured.
Fox branded Artemiev a “deadbeat alcoholic drug addict dad” — which he denied — in a scathing Instagram Story post that December.
