Catherine Zeta-Jones Set to Star in Prime Video’s Revenge Thriller "Kill Jackie"
Acclaimed actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is gearing up to captivate audiences once again, this time in the highly anticipated revenge thriller series Kill Jackie, a Prime Video original production in collaboration with Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures. Based on the gripping novel The Price You Pay by bestselling author Nick Harkaway, writing under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen, the series is set to begin production in March. Zeta-Jones will not only star in the lead role of the enigmatic Jackie Price but also serve as an executive producer, marking her latest venture in a career filled with dynamic and multifaceted performances.
Kill Jackie follows the story of Jackie Price, a woman who has meticulously crafted a life of luxury and anonymity over the past two decades. Once an international cocaine dealer, Jackie has spent years escaping her dangerous past by traveling the world, selling fine art, and leveraging sophisticated tax loopholes to maintain her wealth. However, her meticulously constructed life takes a deadly turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a group of the world’s most ruthless hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Assuming that someone from her past is behind the threat, Jackie taps into her old instincts and devises a daring plan to eliminate the assassins one by one before they can strike her down. But as she delves deeper into this perilous game, she realizes that her own inner demons and buried secrets are far more terrifying than the killers on her trail. The pursuit of survival leads her closer to home than she ever anticipated, unraveling shocking truths that force her to confront the consequences of her past.

In a deal orchestrated by Fremantle’s Jamie Lynn and brokered by Rebecca Dundon and Fran Denny, Kill Jackie will premiere on Prime Video across multiple territories, including the U.K., Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Canada. Fremantle will handle distribution in other regions, while Steel Springs Pictures will oversee sales in the U.S.
