Glen Powell is staying mum on those Sydney Sweeney romance rumors.

While appearing on Wednesday’s “Today with Jenna & Friends,” the actor played coy when asked about reuniting with his “Anyone But You” co-star so soon after her breakup from fiancé Jonathan Davino.

Powell, 36, stopped by the NBC show just days after he and Sweeney, 27, both attended his sister Leslie’s wedding in Dallas over the weekend.

Host Jenna Bush Hager teased Powell about the latest reunion headlines, saying, “The wedding caused a little bit of a stur. Did that surprise you?”

“You know, timing is everything in this world,” he said while laughing. “[Leslie] and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding.”

Powell gushed that the wedding was “such a fun, rowdy” time with his family and friends.

“The Powells know how to crank it up!” he told Bush Hager and guest co-host Olivia Munn.

The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor confirmed that he was a groomsman and played the role of “master of the ceremony” by giving a speech and spending time with both his sister and brother-in-law.

Powell and Sweeney — who first raised eyebrows for their flirty friendship while promoting their 2023 rom-com — were also seen grabbing a bite with friends at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex before last weekend’s nuptials.

However, Powell’s mom, Cyndy, later denied the pair were more than friends.

“They’re definitely not together,” she told the Daily Mail on Tuesday. “[There is] nothing going on behind closed doors.”

Cyndy clarified that their entire family — including the bride — became “really close friends” with Sweeney while she and Glen were filming the blockbuster movie in Australia.

“We love Sydney. We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend,” she told the outlet. “We all were together so much, and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s really a friend, and we all enjoy her.”

Cyndy also shut down speculation that Sweeney came as her son’s date, claiming she had RSVP’d “a long time” ago with her best friend as her plus-one.

“He’s the kindest person, and he is so others-oriented. He loves his family, he loves his friends,” she added of Glen. “And Sydney is a friend. They’ve been friends for so long. They’ve known each other for so long, and they’ve both been single and together and with other people.”

Fans have been rooting for Sweeney and Glen to take their onscreen romance offscreen ever since they developed a close bond on the set of “Anyone But You” in early 2023.

Sweeney, whose then-fiancé co-produced the film, admitted to Variety that August that they were simply giving the people “what [the] people want.”

“Glen and I don’t really care,” she told the outlet. “We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. They want it. It’s fun to give it to ’em.”

Sweeney attended Leslie’s wedding without Davino, 41, just a few weeks after news broke that she had called off their own ceremony, which was supposed to take place in May.

A source told People on Monday that she ended their relationship to “focus on her career right now.”

“She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,” the insider said.

The source added, “What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.

“She’s not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”

Sweeney and Davino began dating in 2018. He popped the question four years later.
