Peacock has greenlit a spinoff of “Love Island USA” following several cast members from Season 6. With working title “Love Island: Beyond the Villa,” the series will premiere this summer.

The cast includes JaNa Craig, Serena Page, Leah Kateb, Aaron Evans, Miguel Harichi, Kaylor Martin, Connor Newsum, Kenny Rodriguez, Olivia Walker and Kendall Washington with additional appearances from other former “Love Island” stars. Per the official logline, the new series “follows everyone’s favorite Season 6 Islanders around Los Angeles as they navigate new careers, evolving friendships, newfound fame and complex relationships outside of the Love Island villa.”

Season 6 of “Love Island USA” was a landmark for Peacock. Though the American version of the reality dating series had previously struggled to achieve the pop culture ubiquity of the original “Love Island,” which airs on the U.K.’s ITV2, Season 6 became the most-watched reality series of summer 2024, per Nielsen, and Peacock’s biggest reality competition series ever.

Serena won Season 6 with Kordell Beckham, who was not included in the “Beyond the Villa” cast list, while Leah and Miguel were runner-ups and JaNa and Kenny took third place.

Set in Fiji, the season was hosted by Ariana Madix and narrated by Iain Stirling. Shot in Fiji, executive producers included David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Claudine Parrish, James Barker, Blake Garrett, Courtney Rosenthall, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster.

George, Sher, Foster and Fenster also executive produce the L.A. spinoff, alongside Sarah Howell and Richard Bye. The series is produced by ITV America in association with GroupM Motion Entertainment.
