New research has named the most popular designer fashion brands to gift this Valentine’s Day, with Coach topping the list.
A new study by mystery box site, Cases.gg, examined search volume data on the popularity of designer fashion brands.
The data paired 29 of the most popular designer fashion brands with eight search term variations, such as ‘where to buy [brand],’ ‘buy [brand],’ and ‘[brand] deals,’ to identify the upmarket brands most in demand.
According to the findings, Coach is the designer fashion brand Brits are most obsessed with.
The luxury fashion brand averaged 22,154 monthly searches, which is 1,040% higher than the average of 1,944 monthly searches for a designer fashion brand in the UK.
In fact, Coach was the top designer fashion brand in every city and town.
Ralph Lauren had the second-highest rate of searches, with 7,156 average monthly searches – 268% above the average.
The fashion brand is the second most popular designer brand in every city and town except Birmingham, Edinburgh, London, and Rotherham.
Michael Kors ranks third, and Brits search for the brand 179% more than the average, with 5,428 average monthly searches.
The high-end fashion brand is second most popular in four places—Birmingham, Edinburgh, Maidstone, and Rotherham—and ranks third in 58 cities and towns.
The fourth-most popular designer brand is Burberry, with 4,321 average monthly searches – 122% higher than the average.
The designer fashion brand is the fourth most popular designer brand in 22 cities and towns, including Blackpool, Cardiff, and Edinburgh.
Tory Burch has the fifth-highest rate of searches, with 1,957 average monthly searches – 1% above the average.
The designer fashion brand is the fourth-most popular in seven cities and towns, including Coventry, Milton Keynes, and Northampton, and ranks fifth in 10 cities and towns.

Gucci is the sixth designer fashion brand Brits are most obsessed with, with 1,893 average monthly searches – 3% lower than the average.
The fashion brand is third most popular in three places—High Wycombe, Ipswich, and Worcester—and ranks fourth in 18 cities and towns.
Mulberry ranks seventh, with 1,881 average monthly searches, which is 3% below the average.
The designer fashion brand is the third-most popular in nine cities and towns, including Cheltenham, Derby, and Newport, and ranks fourth in 18 cities and towns.
The eighth most popular is Prada with 1,171 average monthly searches – 40% lower than the average.
The luxury brand only makes it into the top five in Norwich and Portsmouth and ranks sixth in Chelmsford, Doncaster, Eastbourne, and Lincoln.
Goyard has the ninth-highest rate of searches, with 1,166 average monthly searches, which is 40% below the average.
The luxury fashion brand ranks fourth in Aberdeen and Salford and ranks fifth in Preston.
Rounding out the top 10 most popular designer fashion brands is Chanel, with 920 average monthly searches – 53% less than the average.
The designer fashion brand is the fourth most popular in Norwich and ranks fifth in Rotherham.
