Media walls are proving to be one of the most sought-after interior trends for 2025, combining functionality and style. They typically feature a TV, an electric fire, and built-in storage, all seamlessly integrated into a single wall unit. The wires are hidden within the wall, creating a clean, modern finish
How Popular are Media Walls?
Media walls are in high demand, explains Christine Matthews, Marketing Manager for Gr8 Fires.
“We’re expecting 2025 to be the year of the self-build media wall. Media walls have been a growing trend in recent years, but the latest self-build media wall product lines allow households to easily build their own media wall, complete with built-in electric fire, as you would with a piece of flat-pack furniture”.
Gr8 Fires has already seen a surge in orders in recent months: “Last year, we briefly sold out of our media wall kits in October, as customers prepared for winter,” says Christine Matthews. “We’re due to have new stock available at the end of February. However, with celebrities like Adele showcasing their media walls, we can expect to see even greater demand throughout 2025 as homeowners look to emulate the home aesthetics of their favourite A-list stars.”
How to Save Money on Media Walls
Christine explains that significant savings can be made by opting for a self-build media wall:
“Depending on the design and finish, building a media wall in a property costs between £2,000 and £4,000 on average. However, with self-build media wall kits starting at around £1,300, including the electric fire, there are huge savings of almost 75% to be made compared to custom-built options.”
“Our Ezee Glow Celestial 60 Electric Fire Self-Build Media Wall Kit is perfect for achieving a high-end look and resembles Adele’s own design choice. It includes a 60-inch electric fire, which adds a focal point to your media wall, and is designed for easy assembly, even for DIY beginners.”
