An urgent warning has been issued by police after a man who ‘poses a risk to the public’ has been seen travelling through London.Vasile Coceban, 36, was reported missing by staff at the Park Royal Centre for Mental Health in Acton Lane, Brent on Wednesday at 10.32am.Two images have been released by the police of Vasile on the morning he went missing where he is wearing a purple camouflage hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and light-coloured trainers.It is understood he has since bought new clothing and a large black rucksack.Coceban has since been found. He was seen on CCTV in a shop in Kilburn High Road later that day at around 4.20pm wearing a grey tracksuit top and a red t-shirt while carrying the rucksack he had bought earlier. Officers believe he is still in Brent and the north west London area but their investigation suggest that since he went missing he has travelled to Hyde Park in Westminster and back again on the train network. Detective Superintendent Andrew Brien, from the North West Command Unit, urged people in the Kilburn area to ‘check any sheds or gardens’ as Vasile could be ‘sleeping rough or camping’.He added that it is ‘important we return him [Vasile] to the facility where he is being treated’.
