A posh Surrey family are on the hunt for a chauffeur, personal shopper and handyman – all in one.
The £55,000-per-year role with the distinguished family from Haselmere involves driving the man of the house to his office in London and back, as well as chauffeuring the rest of the family when needed.
Other roles in the job description include ensuring the family fridge is fully stocked, keeping the collection of luxury cars clean and maintained, and jobs around the house when needed.
The shift runs from 7.30am to 7pm and some weekend work will be required. There will be a four-week probationary period for the successful candidate.
The family’s home is in the upmarket London commuter belt of Haselmere where the average house is more than £700,000.
Eden Private Staff are advertising the role. Their ad says: “The ideal candidate will be someone who has had experience in a similar role and understand the need for flexibility and the nature of the role. You will need to have a superb eye for detail especially when it comes to cleaning and preparing the cars. The family is looking for someone who is good with time keeping, proactive, and happy to take on varied tasks.”
The family are also insisting the candidate has experience driving high-end luxury vehicles, similar experience in a previous role, a superb eye for detail and a love of dogs, to get along with the family hound.
A mandatory DBS check is part of the application process, and the family is keen on filling the vacancy as soon as possible.
