Feeling in the mood to imbibe a “Squid Game”-inspired cocktail — or binge on a “Sex Education” sausage hoagie?

Netflix fans in Las Vegas who are hungry (and thirsty) for creations based on the streamer’s top originals can now visit the Netflix Bites Vegas restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The streamer’s new dining establishment — offering breakfast, lunch and dinner — will have a “one-year culinary residency,” where “guests to dig into dishes and drinks that bring the magic of the screen to the table,” the company said Tuesday in announcing the opening.

Netflix Bites Vegas is patterned on the streamer’s 2023 pop-up restaurant in L.A., for which reservations were fully booked for more than six weeks. According to Netflix, its in-person experiential installations to date have reached 7.5 million people across 170 openings in 100 cities and 40 unique formats around the world.

At Netflix Bites Vegas, most (but not all) of the menu items are tied to a Netflix series or movie. Examples: Bridgerton Regency Tea ($65 per person) three-course service; the WWE Smashburger ($23); a “Too Hot to Handle”-inspired Bloody Mary ($18); The Mind Flayer ($24), a “Stranger Things” bourbon drink; and The Pink Soldier ($18), a nod to the “Squid Game” guards that “puts Korean soju in the spotlight.”

Other dishes include The Grand Line Showboat ($65), inspired by “One Piece,” described as a “shareable sushi ship of nori rolls with rice, spicy tuna, cured carrots, cucumber and pickled ginger; Red Bite, Green Bite fried chicken ($26), which comes with a tabletop wheel diners can spin to determine which of the three dipping sauces they try; Beverly Hills Cobb salad ($21); The Dessert Is Lava ($30), a molten chocolate cake; and Get Your Knives Out for This Glass Onion ($16) fried onion petals. In its biggest move to expand Netflix’s in-person experiences business, in 2025 the company plans to open its first two “Netflix Houses” in Dallas and King of Prussia, Pa. (outside of Philadelphia), set to include experiential activities tied to the streamer’s franchises like “Bridgerton,” “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game.” At a conference last fall, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said he sees an opportunity for the company to eventually build out 50-60 permanent retail destinations around the world that combine ticketed in-person experiences, shopping and restaurants. The initial Netflix House locations are “meant to mostly be a learning experience,” Sarandos said. “I don’t see us having a [theme] park, but I do see us having 50 or 60 of these around the world.”

“Netflix Bites is a new way to experience fan-favorite movies and shows,” says Josh Simon, VP of consumer products at Netflix. “When our fans find a show they like, they don’t just want to love it — they want to live it. There’s no city in the world that knows best how to immerse fans in over-the-top worlds like Las Vegas. MGM, known for their top-notch hospitality and entertainment, is the ideal creative partner delivering fun, original storytelling through memorable food and drink experiences.”

Netflix Bites Vegas is located at the MGM Hotel and Casino (3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South) on the casino floor near the lobby entrance. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
